Be aware that TikTok has two requirements you need to meet before you are able to live stream. First, you need to have at least one thousand followers. (If you recently hit 1,000 follower point, do not worry if the live stream option takes a few days to show up). If you need some additional help gaining followers check out Toklist.
Second, you also need to be over 16 years old. TikTok does let people join the app as young as 13, but you will need to be at least sixteen to be able to live stream. Additional features are also opened up after you reach 18 years of age such as virtual gifts.
If you meet the above requirements you should be able to begin live streaming by following the steps below.
Step 1. Start by opening the TikTok app.
Step 2. Press on the "+" button toward the bottom of your screen.
Step 3. Press the "Live" option which should be just below the record button.
Step 4. Next, enter your live streams title. (It should be descriptive).
Step 5. Next, press "Go Live" to start your TikTok live.
Step 6. When you are finished, end it by pressing the "X" button.
